Welcome! Feel like singing? Feel like singing with us? Join Kalmar nation’s choir! We meet at Kalmar nation Wednesdays at 7.00 pm and sing at the nation’s “gasquer” (parties), at the nation choir festival every spring and sometimes in our own concerts as welll. We sing traditional student songs and folk music as well as pop. The choir doesn’t just focus on singing. We feel that it is important to have fun together and therefore arrange our own parties and have our own dinners when there’s a “gasque”. Sometimes we eat cake (see picture). It's only 100 kr per term to join the choir! You don’t have to bee an experienced singer but it is good if you can sing in tune. Our choir is a great way for international students to learn Swedish (at least useful words like stämfiskal and festsånghäfte) and meet people!
